GTG's Jekyll and Hyde

Last week we were treated to a fantastic production of Jeckyll and Hyde by Godalming Theatre Group at Charterhouse. It was a particularly special evening as we were able to support the lovely actors who came to our March meeting. Keep eyes peeled for details of their next production in October...

Fashion show in aid of The Fountain Centre

On Friday The Mandolay hosted a fabulous fashion show raising funds for The Fountain Centre at St. Lukes Cancer Centre. The Fountain Centre is a truly amazing charity giving support and special treats to cancer sufferers all over Surrey in their lovely centre based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. Lots of our lovely ladies attended and a brilliant time was had by all.

April's meeting: Bar Des Arts

At this month's meeting we were treated to mocktails and a very interesting talk by Bar Des Arts owner Sara Burks (pronounced Sarah!). Excellent beverages and entertaining stories wet our whistles and the pudding club have decided to have their next meeting there on the 30th April. The fundraising group organised a brilliant bottle tombola with all our ladies bringing a bottle and we raised a fantastic £65 for our pot! Thank you to all who attended and made it another fun and fabulous evening.

Weyout meeting

A fun evening at the Weyout meeting at Normandy Village Hall last Wednesday with our lovely lot not only turning out en masse, but also producing sterling refreshments. Well done ladies! Even more impressive were Helen Skinner and Kitty McCormick who took to the stage and triumphed in their bid to become Tiller Girls for the evening. Thank you to all who attended.
